Madeira result, auction graphs

27 Apr 2005

The copy of Madeira (1934) we mentioned before went for £300 - that's very nearly the full BDKR guideline.

Another big ticket today was the Schlesien 2 (1938), which made EUR177.97.

If you have been looking very carefully recently, you may have spotted a new feature on the editions pages: where there are three auction results or more for an edition, you can now click on "Graph" and get a chart window showing price development over time. It's not really much use yet, since the number of price entries is relatively small, but it is a fun use of PHP. And at least, you can spot any anomalies in the pricing - if there are some unusually low results dragging down the average, for example because books in bad condition have been sold, you can spot them and see what the average result ought to be.
