A pseudo-Baedeker

Here is a classic example of a "pseudo-Baedeker" - i.e. a travel guide pretending to be something it is not. Look carefully at the pictures- even the typical Baedeker impressed lines on the cover are there, the colours, the typeface and everything. This is typical of the 1878-1915 Hartleben travel guides.
