So today we present Mittel-Italien 3. This interesting edition appears in three variants, dated respectively 1870, 1871 and 1872. It's only the latest version that has been seen in auction by bdkr.com, and this is different from the two earlier ones in that it has been cut down to 325 from 385 pages in the main section, while it has extensions and improvements to the content.

It would be interesting to know a bit more about these three variants and what exactly the differences are...
