First English edition of Lower Egypt [UPDATED]

eBay has a copy of Lower Egypt (1878) going at the moment - looks nice but the starting bid of £600 appears very ambitious...

UPDATED: the book is in fact rebound (see the pictures) and not in its original cover.

Just managed to avoid a frost overnight, under some lovely clear skies. And today the weather is absolutely brilliant - time to do some gardening!
