A pseudo-Baedeker of Schwarzwald

Found on eBay recently: a pseudo-Baedeker I hadn't seen before. It is called "Führer durch den badischen und württembergischen Schwarzwald", by Carl Wilhelm Schnars, and dates from 1868. Looking at the pictures of the volume, it is amazingly Baedeker-like - except the cover is dark grey or maybe blue instead of red.

It is a lovely part of the world containing very many Baedekerish places and one of my absolute favourite hotels - Hotel Hirschen in Glottertal...
