A la recherche du Baedeker perdu

Apologies for the somewhat spotty auction cover over the last few days, but we went on a little trip to a favourite place on the Moselle [Beilstein (Gasth: Lipmann, 20 Z. zu 1 1/2 M) Den altertümlichen, an die Felsen angeschmiegten Ort überragen die Trümmer der 1688 zerstörten Reichsburg Beilstein...], as the Rheinlande 31 (1909) puts it. Haus Lipmann is still there and very much recommended, though the Z. costs rather more than 1 1/2 M these days (but a still reasonable €95 for a double room inc. breakfast).
