A question for you: in which classic Baedekers does the city now officially called Thessaloniki, in the Greek province of Macedonia, appear? It has been called various other names, mostly along the lines of Saloniki. But it didn't formally become part of the Kingdom of Greece until the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, which means that when the various Baedeker editions on Griechenland/Greece/Grece were published, the city still belonged to the Empire. But is it covered by the Greece editions? Does it also appear in the Konstantinopel editions?
