On the suggestion of Brent Ryan, a friendly fan of the website, I have added (for editions with three or more recorded sales) information about the median sales value achieved. This complements the "average" (strictly speaking the arithmetic mean value), which has always been available.

The mean value can be skewed by unusually high or low results. The median is, literally, the middle value of all sales records, and therefore may, in some cases, give a truer picture of the price tendency. Please don't hesitate to ask if you would like more information about this!
